In it, he helps Susanoo no Mikoto, the God of sea and storms, slay two giant snakes. This story is performed in a Kagura (Japanese play). Susanoo no Mikoto was told by Ashinazuchi and Tenazuchi (Shinto deities ) that two giant snakes ate two of their daughters, leaving only one to live. Susanoonomikoto
